The Freeway 2 Lithium features a lighter, stronger, and more attractive frame than its dependable ancestor. The Freeway 2 Lithium adds the very latest in battery technology using a super lightweight, and more efficient Lithium-Ion battery. In fact, this new Lithium Battery is 75% lighter, and 50% more efficient that the lead acid battery on the original Freeway! That means the Freeway 2 Lithium weighs an incredible 24 pounds TOTAL, and has the power to last 27 or more holes! Further, since it is so light the battery is designed as part of the frame, so that there is no need to remove the battery when folding for transport. If you can lift your golf bag, you can lift the Freeway 2 Lithium with ease, even WITH the battery on board!
The elegant backlit electronic display shows the speed of the cart as you play, and features two odometers that measure the total lifetime mileage of your Freeway 2 and a resetable yardage indicator for shot distance, or to help you find approach yardage. It features a clock and controls the Digital Distance Function, a very useful tool that can send your Powakaddy ahead 15, 30, or 45 yards ahead to wait for you. This function is particularly helpful around the greens- just grab your wedge and putter, and send your trolley to the edge of the green to wait for you! Finally, a battery life indicator lets you know how much power you have in reserve!The Freeway 2 Lithium also features an optional Digital Braking System and option to consider if you play courses that have a lot of elevation change. The DBS features 3 progressive levels of downhill braking control keeping speed constant down even the steepest hills. It also allows you to park your Freeway on just about any incline, without worrying about it getting away.
