A problem with laser putting trainers in the past has been that you can’t take them with you to play, so you switch back and forth between putters. As we all know, every putter lines up and putts a little differently, and switching back and forth only confuses our brains. Finally, you can experience the benefits of laser technology for putting, and apply the knowledge using the same putter on the course! Just spend about a minute switching out the laser module for the weight module (included), and you are ready for your round, with blessings from the USGA.
Another excellent too included with the package is an audible target, that sounds a discreet beep when you have achieved perfect alignment. This makes it easy to align yourself, even when looking down at the ball in your natural stance. It won’t take long to correct any alignment woes you may be committing, and it is easy to groove that stance and address time after time. After only a 5 minute practice demo with the Red-Eye laser putter at the show, we were able to begin to line up instantly with the target listening for the beep, instead of using the visible laser line. We were amazed how quickly it began to work.
Most golfers line up open to the target line for putting. It feels natural, but it means we must cross a line to achieve a straight putt. This leads to the pushes and pulls with which we are all too familiar. The Red-Eye putting laser trainer makes it simple to change what feels natural on the putting green, leading to a more relaxed, and consistent putting motion.
