With the PDR, you simply roll up to a ball, tilt the PDR forward, and let the PDR and the Shag Bag do all of the work! You will practice longer, and more effectively saving your energy for your shots, instead of your shags!
That alone makes the PDR worth the price of admission, but there are several features that make the PDR an even more valuable practice tool. The PDR comes standard with 6 color coded flags on board to use as targets at different distances. To make it easy to place your flags at exact yardages, the Personal Driving Range features a precise measuring counter. Use the PDR to set your flags at, say 25, 50 and 75 yards, then take your shots. Then as you are using the PDR to easily shag your balls, use the counter to estimate your average distance, and variance to target. Over time, your practice will improve, and be more enjoyable.
There are also creative ways to use your PDR for short game practice too! Place two of the flags 4 inches a part and putt through them. This creates the popular "putting gate" that gives the mind both a horizontal and vertical target for more accurate putting practice. With another two flags, remove the banner from the rod and lay the rods flat on the green parallel to each other to create a track for your putter to ensure a smooth, straight stroke.
