The Story:
Several years ago, a wonderful discovery was made. A warehouse full of pure Cuban tobacco was found that had been imported before the U.S. Cuban embargo in 1961. U.S. Customs agents were called to verify that the tobacco had been imported before the embargo, and was therefore legal to use to manufacture cigars for sale in the United States. So, not only was the tobacco brought here before the embargo, it had aged to perfection over some 45 years! These cigars are made from that same Cuban tobacco, along with a blend of the finest Dominican tobacco available. The result is simply the finest cigar we have ever smoked.
Now, we don't know about the "story", but we do know that these cigars are exquisite. They are Churchill style for a long leisurely smoke and they have that unique Cuban quality of being rich and full flavored, yet smooth and mild at the same time. They are meticulously hand rolled, so the burn is true and the draw is excellent. The silky white ash is further evidence of a truly superior cigar.
